Immediate change of venue and most of these charges being tossed. The cops have an excellent chance of beating the other remaining charges. The states attorney was more interested in politics than Justice. She threw the crowd some meat to calm them down. Tragic fact is the lives of these officers and their families are destroyed forever. So happy I am retired. Always pray for the officers facing this crap every day.

Wow. Just wow.

At this point no one still even knows what happened, who did what, how he was injured (street? Transport? Self-inflicted?) .Waaaaay to soon to even think about charges.

And charging all 6 so heavy? If they all fight their respective cases, there is no way a conviction will be found. If they crack and start making deals is the only chance the prosecution has, and I think THAT is why they charged so heavy..

Nevermind the conflict of interest between their States Attorney and Freddie Grey's lawyer.

This whole thing stinks, and was charged as a social appeasement, instead of according to a sound legal decision.

Any which way, my heart goes out to the first responders still strapping it on every day and adhering to the oath they took. An oath they begrudgingly I'll maintain to the people of the city, despite the city itself turning on them.

"Goodson was the driver of the van that transported Freddie Gray, and he faces the most serious charges. Mosby said
Friday that Goodson repeatedly failed — at least five times — to seatbelt Gray in the transport vehicle. Overall, Goodson faces six charges, including "second-degree depraved heart murder," which carries a potential 30-year sentence.

Goodson, 45, has been on the force since 1999, and like two others charged in Gray's death is black."

Was watching coverage on FOX Cable News and you know what?

Baltimore looks like a third world country in Africa.

You have all these people riding around giving the finger to cops and yelling stuff. The only thing missing was the occasional AK-47 shooting up in the air in jubilation of "their victory".

As for their mayor? What a joke!

As for their prosecutor? Could you see a white Male talking the same about some white victim - and "we will be gettin' justice"?

All this shows a couple of things -
1) Race relations have been thrown back to the 1960s - if not worse.

2) Welfare and coddling since the 1960s has been a failure - cut it all off. The products of welfare (more illegitimate kids) are NOT productive for society. Opportunities given are opportunities squandered.

3) If it's going to be a free-for-all because cops are hindered from doing their job, then everyone should arm themselves accordingly. Concealed carry is a must, not an option.

4) White people need to start calling these people in office and in authority "racists" when they start coming out with these half-assed statements and actions.

These cops look like they are going to be used as some demonstration of "the new justice" (black activist biased justice where facts don't matter, but riled up hatred does)

If we go to that, do you really think white people are going to still be passive?

Not everybody is happy that the six police officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray are being charged with felonies.

One of those people is famous defense attorney Alan Dershowitz, who appeared with Steve Malzberg today to slam Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby for playing politics with the lives of those officers.

Specifically, Dershowitz said that “this is a very sad day for justice.” He claimed that Mosby acted to prevent riots rather that in response to the evidence in the case.

He also said that it will be “virtually impossible” for the police officers to get a fair trial.

Dershowitz criticized Mosby for the extent of the charges as well, saying that there is “no plausible, hypothetical, conceivable case for murder.” He went so far as to say that the state’s attorney might be removed from the case.

Finally, he said that it’s unlikely that the state will get any convictions in this case. And, even if they do get convictions, they will probably lose on appeal.

Also every officer in patrol should be well versed in transporting of arrestees and if their is a problem on the street call for a supervisor or street deputy for guidance when a discrepancy exists that cannot be corrected. But no one will so why am I bothering writing this......

I attend Police Week in DC every year and have been doing so for the last 18 years. I usually fly into BWI as southwest has a direct flight there.

I just booked my flight on American Airlines out of ORD with a direct flight to DCA/Reagan. This package deal also means my rental car taxes will not be paid to the City of Baltimore.

May I suggest everyone seriously consider boycotting the City of Baltimore and state of Maryland with any travel plans.

The Mayor and States Attorney made it perfectly clear that the Police are not welcomed in their city.

I am also sending the Governor of Maryland a letter informing him of my change of plans due to the Hostile and Anti Police Government in Baltimore.

Will my choice negatively affect his state? No, But if others follow and let them know of their change in plans maybe in some small way it will make a difference.

I believe in the old testament, an eye for an eye.

So let me get this straight, the people of Baltimore are rioting because the police mistreat and charge black people with bogus crimes. They are tired of black people being charged disproportionally to the number of blacks with respect to the general population. Now the State's Attorney charged three blacks and three whites, including a black woman. The man with the most serious charge is black and charged with murder. The people are happy with the charges and dancing on the street because of the racist police. I don't know if I get it.
In any event, I hope ALL of the officers are vindicated in the end.

The above said it all as we all know it to be. Avex the entire East coast to these mutts and put up a wall for the law abiding people of the country.
The summer is here and watch the major big cities go up in flames.

Barry has done a heck of a job as POTUS. He and Varlie Jarrert, the power behind the throne did this all. Liek her late recist father Vernon Jarrert, he hated anyone who was not his color. I remember his radio show and reading his article, a true to the core hater. Even Rhm had no use of Varalie when he was chief od staff. Main reason he hit the bricks. Say what you want, Rahm is a middle of the road politician and knows what is going on. He see' the shit and knows he just wants to keep the mutts in place and mellow.

Drop a trailer off of bottles of Jim Beam and the mutts will stay calm, let hope the druck Mc Drunk does not get first pickings.

All you patroll guys watch your asses and do a lot of waving when passing the masses of rats on the street. Get to you calls nice and slow, no hurry. Only calls to ruch to is when another copper needs help, fuck the bodies that litter the streets after a pork chop shooting.

So, my brothers and sisters, if you didn't believe before, believe NOW......there is nowhere you go, nothing you do, nothing you say that will NOT be recorded somewhere.....
Go to your calls, arrest on signed complaints, and if they run, let em run.....tomorrow is another day....

Some hard lessons for local law enforcement in this new America:
LESSON #1: It's not a good time to be the police.
LESSON #2: It's definitely not a good time to be the police in a Democratic city or town.
LESSON #3: It's MOST DEFINITELY not a good time to be a white police officer in a Democratic city or town.

Lessons heard loud and clear. ACT ACCORDINGLY!

Coming from a Police family doesn't confer pedigree of any sort on an asshole, police-hater m/fer.

Eat the bread a Policeman puts on the table or some other such familiar thing...

Look at Rahm...
Wasn't his "Beloved" uncle a Copper?

How did THAT pan out?

What about that hate blinded alder-fool Beal?
His FATHER was a Policeman and Beal, when he was chairman of the Police and Fire Committee,
shit-talked about "all that free money" (in lieu of
actual pay) Policemen didn't deserve to have.

Moperah was alleged to be the side-poke of an old guard black exempt or three through the 90's - early 2000's when the last of them retired. She doesn't write with a social conscience. She writes from scorn. You can see where her poison pen stems from in matters pertaining to The Police.

Look at some of the clout and legacy children of CPD...

As someone that sat through all of Servin's trial I would say that you completely misunderstood Judge Porter's statement. The state's premise that Servin fired wildly over his shoulder at a crowd of people while he was looking away was an exaggeration of a poorly worded detective report. The state's witnesses contradicted each other and were impeached by third party witnesses who were supposed to bolster their testimony. It was quite evident that Servin was intentionally shooting at Antonio Cross. Porter spent half an hour explaining his not guilty, don't jump on the last ten seconds out of context. LuAnne Snow was the former head of Anita's newly formed unit charged with prosecuting police excessive force crimes. Snow was no friend of police officers. She refused to indict Servin and was fired from the SAO by Anita. I have never seen so much effort put into such a weak case.

We be had a solid record of delaying, then finally beating back these mob induced show trials.

The Trayvon Martin case finally came out with the mob guilty verdict being negated.

Officer Wilson in Ferguson MO was found to be innocent.

The key to this case will be how defense handles the cursed lying Cultural Marxist TV media.

There are some small cracks in the once overwhelmingly anti White, anti police, pro Black criminal media.

Harvard Law civil rights prophessor, OJ Simpson defense attorney Alan Dershowitz is now a TV legal expert talking head, he's turned against mob justice, turned against cop hating.

This change has to do with his defense of Israel against mob terror from Gaza, Hamas. It's always interesting to see these few breakaways.

On the other side, the bad side, a recent poll of Harvard law faculty and students found them to be over 95% Lib Democrat.

I'm betting this will be another Tawana Brawley. Sure, the officers may have manhandled Freddie Gray. But what was Gray involved in for the week prior to his arrest? I've known of people who had spinal fractures after accidents, beatdowns, etc. and were walking around - the fractures didn't show on x-rays because of all of the tissue swelling. And why is no one looking at the prison guards who had access to Gray after he was locked up? If Gray was whining about his head hurting and needing a doctor, one of them may have tested whether he was malingering or not by giving him a few thumps. It's been known to happen. There are too many loose ends in this case, but if the jury is rigged a la O J Simpson, then the verdict is already written in spite of evidence.

I just wonder what will happen if police start backing off and give the "community" what they want. When the crime starts going through the roof, will anyone finally blame the thugs that are the root cause, or will they still find some way to blame the police?

In Chicago, 4 people have been shot dead since Friday. An off-duty officer was shot. Yet, no one is talking about the scum that committed these crimes. People love to blame poverty. People may be born into poverty, but they stay there because of the poor decisions they make. Nothing will change until these mamas start closing their legs, the community starts valuing education, and they learn some respect for themselves and others.

Watched the news now that there are black and white coppers involved they are saying all police need "retraining" yea ok media is all knowing! Such lack of experience will be evident in trial! Pathetic a mayor with no skill this girl what a place to live, no wonder it's a crime capital, but not to worry they ruined 6 coppers lives already, and they decimated a once hard working police force, this will have a domino effect throughout the country.

What copper wants to risk this happening to them and their families? The gang copper, the mission team, the tactical units are now pretty much finished thanks to the liberal "police are bad" mindset. Good Cops, Bad Verdict - How Racial Politics Convicted Us of Murder ..
true story of two veteran white cops, doing their job, ridding the streets of Detroit of drugs-and what can happen when things turn terribly wrong. While attempting to subdue a black person who is resisting arrest in front of a known dope house, the officers use force that includes striking the perpetrator with a flashlight. With help from other crews, the suspect, Malice Green, is subdued and conveyed to the hospital, where he passes away, allegedly from injuries suffered in the scuffle. Almost immediately, the police chief and mayor brand the officers as murderers and virtually fire them then and there. Responding officers are also suspended. The author and his partner, Wally Budzyn are eventually charged in the death of Green, but not before the city gives several million dollars to Green's relatives to prevent a civil trial. Both officers wind up in prison for several years after a racially charged trial involving questionable characters (witnesses and sworn personnel) and evidence in Detroit.

This book is the journal of Larry's nightmare that occurred after the arrest of Green goes bad. He meticulously points out errors in testimony, forensics and the railroading they faced trying to clear themselves. A real eye opener for anyone who followed the case and a MUST read for any law enforcement officer, especially those who believe it can't happen to them. Because it can-and did-happen.

-----------------------------------------

You're kidding, right?

If a private citizen had done the same thing as Servin, it sure as hell wouldn't have taken over a year to come back with criminal charges.

Within 24 hours that unlucky sucker would have been facing a murder rap. State's Attorney carried this guy's water so as not to offend the rest of the cops out there.

There was an election coming up, as I recall. Shit like this is one of the reasons people are getting fed up with all the bullshit when it comes to police action.

And I always get a kick out of when cops complain that nobody will come forward to testify in a criminal matter, when they themselves hide behind the "blue wall of silence" all the time.

If you're a cop or you're connected, you get the benefit of the doubt, every goddamn time.

Hi 012! 007 checking in here....how's your new boss? Have the threats started yet? You know, the ones about dumping people off their cars or off tact because there's. not enough CONTACT CARDS! Motivate through intimidation! Bully your way to results! Threaten to dump everyone! That's Management 101 per Kulbida.

And Tact? Oh just wait boys and girls. You'll have your very own absentee tact lieutenant very soon! Hey. Don't get me wrong. I loved not having Fidler around all the time. But there were more than a few times we needed him and he was no where to be found. Oh. Wait a minute. We could always find him at his kids sports event somewhere in Beverly. Go Team!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Schmitz had Fidler working afternoons you ball bag.
Do you think Leo would tolerate his tact lieutenant not working? Fid was a great boss and is going to be missed. If this is who I think it is, even your own team couldn't stand you. That and the constant stalking of females (TM, JB,JF) to the point where you tried to follow them on vacation made you the running joke in 007. Go eat your gun.

You couldn't be further from correct. The other guy that got shot would have been charged with murder. He was pointing a gun a Servin, who fired in fear for his life. The asshole then ran away shot to ditch the gun and came back later. He even "admitted" to detectives that he was pointing his "cell phone" at Servin in order to make him think he had a gun.
If you cause the death of another by your actions, you are supposed to be charged with murder even if you didnt pull the trigger. Servin did not intentionally shoot that woman, nor were his actions willfully negligent. The judge made a 100% correct call. In fact if Servin was Joe Citizen he NEVER would have been charged with murder at all!

No, I'm not kidding; and I'm a private defense attorney. You obviously didn't follow the trial and based your opinions on media blurbs. Murder rap? A little too much TV there buddy. You're in Chicago, Murder Rap might be a hip hop name around here.

Private defense attorney, which is lawyer speak for "I lie on my client's behalf".

Who gives a shit that you're an attorney, seriously? And as it is, not even all of your stalwart colleagues can agree on Porter's ruling, which means you're opinion doesn't mean squat. Just a little more white noise to add to the general ignorance of your "professional" class.

The guy recklessly and with intent fired into a crowd of people because he "thought" one of them was reaching for a gun. I say again, if as a private citizen I did the same thing, and defended my actions with the same logic, it wouldn't mean shit when it came time to bring charges against me. And those charges would have been first degree murder.

Murder rap isn't slang for murder charge? Maybe you should watch a little more tv, it's pretty clear your colloquially challenged.

More likely you're probably a transplant from NYC or some other hipper locale.

You might have had some of us thinking you are credible until we came to the last 4 words of your rant. Now you're a bigger douchebag than the person you speak of.

There is no reason to apologize, but I accept it anyway.
